The Anagach woods date back to 1766 when Grantown was established as a new Highland industrial town. Today the woods still produce valuable timber, and are of high conservation value. An extensive network of paths and tracks provides access for walking, running, orienteering, cycling, and observing the wealth of wildlife that inhabits the woodland. The Speyside Way, which runs for many miles, passes through the woods. |
